The first is from tho Monte Cristo mine nnd runs 735 ounces silvor, 4'4 ounces gold and 40 p-r cent lead. The vein from which this eiHHimen was taken is from eight to twelve inches wide. The other specimen is from the same mine and runs 200 ounces silver, one ounce 4 gold and thirty per cent. lend.
