This year’s eight homes will be located on Woodside and Park Aves. Tickets are $20 for the public and $15 for Park City Museum members. Your Barn Door Is Open at McPolin Farm Your Barn Door Is Open, which is presented by Friends of the Farm, will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, at the historic McPolin Farm, 3000 S.R. 224. The event will feature a barbecue, live music and games. Tickets for the event are $30 per person. Children ages 5 and younger will be admitted for free. Olympic Day at Utah Olympic Park An Olympic Day celebration will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, at Utah Olympic Park, 3419 Olympic Parkway. The Yardbirds at the Egyptian Theatre The Yardbirds, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, will perform at 8 p.m. through Saturday, June 23, at the Egyptian Theatre, 328 Main St. The band, known for the hits “Shape of Things” and “For Your Love,” boasted a lineup that included guitarists Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck. Author Event at Dolly’s Bookstore: Beverly Hurwitz, M.D. Author Beverly Hurwitz, M.D. who wrote the “Park City Hiking Guide”, will do a book reading and signing from 2:30-3:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, at Dolly’s Bookstore, 510 Main St. The event is free and open to the public. The EcoCenter will provide the climbing harness, but climbers must wear closedtoe shoes. Climbers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult to sign a liability waiver. Monday, June 25 Hampstead Stage Company Presents American Folk Tales and Songs The Hampstead Stage Company will perform at 6 p.m. on Monday, June 25, at the Summit County Library Kimball Junction Branch, 1885 W. Ute Blvd. The story takes place during the Great Depression, when two traveling workers find themselves sharing the same camp. Alone and without work, they find warmth in the mutual discovery of traditional American folk songs and tall tales. Through music and storytelling, these new friends bring classic folktales from all over America to life. The event is free and open to the public. The family-friendly tours, which are appropriate for ages 13 and older, start at the museum, 528 Main St., and last approximately one hour and 15 minutes. The cost is $7. Registration is required.
