Show Page 10 SOUTH EAST INDEPENDENT Sugar House. Utah Thursday. July 18, 1957 Yellowstone Visitors Mr. and Mrs. Bob Neilsen and daughter Susan, 2653 Kenwood, have been to Yellowstone Na-tional Park. They attended several of the nightly lectures and enjoyed them very much-Thre- e year old Susan was qultt impressed with the bears. The Mount Jordan PTA outing is planned for July 25th. It will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Noel Jensen, 6835 Green-field way, for the officers of the PTA and their husbands. It is a fun outing to get ac-quainted before the coming work year, according to Mrs. Jensen, President of the PTA. It will be a pot luck affair, with games of volleyball, pitching horseshoes, and pingpong. Food, Fun and Friendship will be the theme. Entertains At Wrights ! Wright's Restaurant was the scene of a farewell luncheon for Mr. Oral Ottesen, who is ! leaving for Idaho Falls in the near future. Mr. Ottesen will be editor of a daily newspaper there, and was formerly night editor at the Tribune. Those attending the luncheon were Mrs. Keith Otteson, guest of honor, Mrs. Charles Ryser, Mrs. Curtis Stevens, Mrs. Paul Heath, Mrs. David Hatch, Mrs. Doris Bennion, Mrs. Lloyd Cullimore, Mrs. Fred Bauer, Mrs. Ben Hath-away, Mrs Marvin Simmons, Mrs. Jack Frost, Mrs. Richard Nielson. In honor to Mrs. Ottesen, small poems were composed, and at the conclusion, she was given a book of American Poetry. As a table decoration, the girls had put a toy truck, filled with doll furniture of all types. Chair-man was Mrs. Richard Neilson. Classifieds ... Fish Lake Jaunt --Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Oviatt and their two boys, Mark 10 yra. and Gary, 3, took a trip to Fish Lake Thursday the 11th for a fishing trip. They are returning this Vacation Iru Sun week. Valley Sun Valley was the vacation spot enjoyed by Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bauer, Pamela Brooks, 11, Delores Sanderson, 15, and Ruth Bauer. Tennis, swimming, and lazing in the sun took the spot-light for the week, of their stay. They visited relatives in Rupert oh their return trip, and also visited the Craters of the Moon. NEW CITIZENS Mr. and Mrs Dwayne Williams 2138 Lambourne Ave., have a new,, son, born July 5th weighing in at, seven and one half pounds. Happy over the new arrival are his brothers Chris and Steven. Happy about the new ar-rival are Kathy, 8, and Robbie, 4, and Christie, 2 The grandparents are Mrs. Lena Chaistcnsen, in Midvale, and Mrs. Art Lewis, of Salt Lake.
