H Shoriff Leigh, in company with a H Federal prohibition officer, quite rc H contly went to Lcecho's Canyon on a H "still" hunt for "stills," nnd found M two, on0 of a capacty of 150 gallons, H which is considered to be tho larg- H est ever taken into captivity in tliia H part of the state. The other one H was smaller, yet capable of makng H considerable liquor when kept con- H tjnuously at work. H Tho big machine, so Sheriff Leigh H informs us, wna used in Dixie H --H years ago in Dixie, so ho hns been H informed, and was a big factor in H supplying the denizens of Southern H Utah with "White-Eye." Since that M timo it hns evidently been in this H locnlity doing duty regularly. H Anywny, it has been known that H "White Mule" has been coming reg- H ulnrly from the vicinity of Leeche's H Canyon and in such quantities that H some peoplo hnvo como to think'that H there was a perpetual spring of ''tho H stuff there. The machine H i wns found in a spot covered with high H willows, near a steep bank'of rocks H and soil, nnd could not be detected H I unless n person entered nndforced, H his way through tho willows.
