Tho transactions for tho month of April show an Increase over tho same month of last year, the figures being as follows for April, 1904: Sale3 of stamps, $10,883; stamped envelopes, $3,GC8.50; postal cards, $G0G. Total, $14,810.50. For April, 1905, the business was: Sales of stamps, $12,0G4; stamped envelopes, en-velopes, $5,370.09; postal cards, $382.70. Total, $17,823.09. This is an increaso of about 20 per cent. There was a falling off in the sale of postal cards, duo no doubt to the efforts of tho "holrarchy," but a big increaso In tho sale of stamps and stamped envelopes. |
