Show young daughter of ro roosevelt sevelt ll 11 publisher dies miss carol lee 18 daughter of mr and mrs C I 1 N Mern mott publishers of the tile roosevelt standard died at the family home sunday at pm of leukemia she was stricken three weeks ago she had been a resident of roosevelt since september 1950 when the family moved from helper where her parents published a v cokly newspaper she was bom bem in price june 22 1937 and had attended elen elementary ien and junior high schools at helper miss was a grad continued on page 8 death continued from page 1 aate of the union high school and the roosevelt atako se seminary an I 1 nn ry sho she waa was an honor student at union and prominent ont in school affairs having been n member of the yearbook staff pep club future of 0 america and had been a 4 II 11 club loader lender the was a talented pianist and played in the school band an all active member of the tile ch church u ach of jesus christ of latter day saint she had served in the roosevelt and helper wards words as organist in the tile MIA and sunday school and also a stake take organist in the MIA she had qualified for her silver gleaner cleaner award which she was to have received in the near future f u t ur e miss Mern mott had enrolled ai a freshman at the brigham young university she had been awarded a scholarship ship and had planned to enter the field of elementary education she Is survived by her parents a brother kent clifton roosevelt and a grandmother mrs charles A Mern mott of helper funeral services were conducted in the he roosevelt slake stake house wednesday at I 1 pm with john L swenson bishop of the roosevelt ward presiding burial was in the roosevelt city cemetery under direction of mortuary |
