J Littlefield director of Region 2 of the national field staff start In a letter since her return she complimented the local committee and leaders for the successful year of Work Just accomplished Mrs Littlefield was much impressed with tho the scout room and facilities at hand for the success of the th scout t program I i The following program of work was presented to and highly commended by Mrs Littlefield The girls made scrap- scrap I t for the crippled children of i and L. L D D. S. S hospitals They car- car carI carved J I ved animals from soap The girls are on belts they have sawed from D l For the Needlecraft badge they have e made dainty aprons and several of or the girls are arc busy weaving Our older Girl Scouts are working in inthe the tho th fields of sports and games music and dancing community safety sculpture sculpture ture tune in which they are using clay to toj j model with The girls have participated I in in two Americanization programs They have shown a lively interest in most mo t of the program fields nelds and the leaders feel sure that they will become excel excel- excellent excellent lent American citizens Miss Dorothy Edwards donated eight old style uniforms which was remodeled I by br the mothers of our girl scouts I The Tho committee which was present to I I greet Mrs Littlefield were Mrs Deal J.
