Directors are Herb Adam-soJoe McDonald, Burton Scott, Wayne Smith, and Don Daven March Placing second and third in the casaba contest were Johnson AFB, Japan and Sewart AFB, Tenn. Johnson is a Pacific AF installation. Sewart belongs to Tactical Air Command. Kelly AFB, Tex. winner of the AMC playoffs completed here March 1, was dropped early in the AF contest after winning one and losing another game. Meanwhile at Denver, tournament officials are selecting an all-stteam to represent the AF in the A.A.U. tournament at Denver March The AF entry in the A.A.U. contest last year won the championship. Competing for a berth on the AF Squad is A3c Erroll Leverette from Tinker AFB, Okla. Base basketball fans will remember Leverette as one of the top stars of the Tinker quintet in the AMC playoffs. . There are 15 AF hoopsters in the competition. The field will be narrowed down to 10 cagers to play in the A.A.U. tournament.
