The flyovers began the morning of July 4th when a four-ship from Utah's only Air Force Reserve unit, the 419th Fighter Wing, flew above 19 parade See FLYOVERS I page 5 en. Janet Wolfenbarger, corn- mander of Air Force Materiel Command, will preside at the July 12 redesignation ceremony that will establish the Ogden Air Logistics Complex at Hill AFB. The 10 a.m. ceremony will be held in Hangar 204 near the base flightline. No parking is available near the hangar, so shuttle buses will transport attendees from The Landing and from the parking lot at the corner of Georgia Street and Wardleigh Road, starting at 9 a.m. Other ceremony participants are Lt. Gen.-select Bruce Litchfield, who will assume command of the Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker AFB, 1.11111111r4111111 High marks for base H2O supply 75th Air Base Wing Public Affairs H ill Air Force Base's water supply got high marks in a recently published Consumer Confidence Report, a yearly "report card" that discusses the quality of the base's drinking water system. The 75th Aerospace Medicine Squadron's Bioenvironmental Engineering Flight published the Confidence Report for Hill AFB on July 1. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency requires all drinking water system managers to write a report like this each year. Christopher Decker, 75th Mission Support Group Deputy, wants Team Hill to be prepared for the Consolidated Unit inspection to be conducted next month. On Aug. 2, 18 inspectors will arrive at Hill Air Force Base to begin setting up preliminary arrangements for the inspection and by Aug. 4 the base will have approximately 170 AFMC IG inspectors on site. Deirdre Ma- hon assumed command of DLA Aviation at Ogden June 29 during a ceremony held at Hill Aerospace Museum, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. She re- lieved Army Col. James Kinkade, who served as the first commander for DLA Aviation at Ogden. DLA Aviation Commander Brig. Gen. He thanked the families for their sacrifices and remarked on the reason behind his demanding expectations: the ability to provide the next generation the ability to reach for their goals in a free society.
