Show Institute Setting For Corry-Siri Wedding The Cedar L D S Institute was the scene of a wedding ceremony Friday, April 11th, uniting Miss Norma Nor-ma Dean Corry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Corry and Captain Eugene Eu-gene W. Siri son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Siri of Carlstat, New Jersey. Bishop William Snow officiated at ihe ceremony, and the bride was given gi-ven in marriage by her father. Lt. Eddie Curran was Best Man, with Mrs. Beverley Joseph. Matron of Honor, and Mrs. Bessie Somncrs, and the Misses Lujean Gower and LoLs Urle, Bridesmaids. LuMar and Dan Corry, brothers of the bride were ushers. The groom's father and brother, Henry and Walter .Siri, were present pres-ent at the ceremony, having made the trip from New Jersey by air. The young couple were honored at a reception at the First ward Relief Re-lief Society rooms Friday evening. In the receiving line were the bridal party, tiie bride's parents, and the groom's father. Assisting with the serving were Mrs. Laura Nelson, Mrs. Delia Wade, Mrs. Gwen Corry, Cor-ry, and the Misses Marie Baldwin, Maxine Roberts and Roene Bul-luch. Bul-luch. In charge of the gift room were MLss Lacl Merryweather, Miss Zola Tollestrup and Mrs. Norma Jefferies, and Miss Fern Singleton was in charge of the guest book. The groom entered military service ser-vice with the National Guard before be-fore the beginning of the war and served in the China-Burma theatre of operations Since the war he has been stationed at the Deseret Chemical Chem-ical depot near Tooele, where she .voting couple wilNmnke their home for the present. The bride has worked work-ed at the Chemical depot since her graduation from the Cedar City high school two years ago. |
