Present were Mrs. Jim (Carol) Blair and five children from Los Angeles; Mrs. 'Alfred L. Newren (Beth) from Fairfield, Calif.; Mrs. Norman L. ' Martin (Enid) from Anaheim, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. F. O. Pendleton and two sons from Fry Canyon Utah; Mr.' and Mrs. Frank Pendleton and five children from Mklvale; Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Pendleton and two children, from Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Karl Morgan (Dorinne) and two children from Bottineau, N.D.; and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Irwin (Marintha) and two children from Salt Lake. Close friends of the Pendletons, Mr. and Mrs. John Koense and three sons, were also present. Mrs. Newren and her children will leave soon for Germany where her husband will be stationed with the U.S. Air Force .in Frankfort for the next three years. Lynn Pendleton was released from the U.S. Navy after serving for 34 years on a destroyer. He was a Lieutenant (j.g.) at the time of his release. He will work on his masters degree at the Brigham Young University for the next X' -- i K , j ' ' year. MR. AND MUS. JAMES A. HENftlE . James A. They were married Sept. 10, 1906, Henrie celebrated i their golden wedding anniversary! last Monday in Panguitch and later this mar riage was solemnized in the Manti at their home in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Mr. and Mrs. Henrie were both born and raised in Panguitch, Utah, and their six children were all born there. Mrs. Henrie is the former Manetta Prince. Mr. Henrie filled an LDS Mission in the Samoan Islands from and constructed a church at Sauniatu with the help of unskilled native laborers, whom he had to teach how to use a shovel, to mix the cement for the church. Mrs. Henrie was a school teacher for &v years during her early married life. She has published one book on her husband's genealogy and is working on one of her ancestors.. She has been vitally interested in genealogical research.
