SA Photo Two injured in accident Two Brigham City men were injured late Monday night when the truck which they were traveling in hit two horses and ran off the opposite side of the road. The accident occured about five miles south of Price on Utah Highway 10. According to investigating officer Robert Mead, Utah Highway Patrol, Bud Edward Lowe, 42, was the driver of the northbound truck and Jim Madsen, 37, was the only passenger. Both were taken to Carbon Hospital where Madsen was treated and released, and Lowe suffered undeterminable head and neck injuries. The truck was totalled, and the horses were killed. Trooper Mead said no one in the area claimed the horses. Trooper Mead was assisted in the investigation by Larry Taylor, also of the highway patrol, and Ron Simpson of the Carbon Sheriffs County Department.
