Garfield Lovely Miss Barbara Martin To Become Bride April 1st An interesting nuptial announcement that reveals spring wedding bells in the offing is being made by Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Anderson of Murray of the be trothal of their granddaughter, Miss Dixine Mace, to Gaylen Russell Garfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. II. L. Garfield of Magna. The young couple plan to be married May 7th, and a reception wax be given in their honor. Mr. Garfield is a former stu dent at the University of Utah. Both young people are well known, in this vicinity and an nouncement of the forthcoming marriage will be read with inter est by many friends. On Friday, April 1st, lovely Miss Barbara Martin, daughter n! Mr. and Mrs. Glen B. Martin o! Magna, will become the bride oi Wayne M. Fullmer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Myron Fullmer of Bingham. A reception will honor them that evening at the Utah Copper Club rooms. On March 30, the benedict will receive his commission from the United States Air Force as Lieutenant and be presented with his wings from Williams Air Force Base in Chandler, Arizona. Following a short honeymoon, the couple will be in Oklahoma, where the groom is to be stationed until further orders from the government. Victory Party Miss Norma Fraser entertained a group of friends Monday night to celebrate the victory of the Cyprus Pirates as Class B champ ions. A buffet luncheon was served and games later played. Decor ations were in gold and blue, the rirate colors and a mirror was decorated to read: "Cyprus Pirates, State Class B Champs," with a list of the team members. Twenty-fiv- e guests attended.
