Those interested in hearing Olson may do so by making a reservation for the 12 noon luncheon, costing 64 cents, by by 1 p.m. calling Thursday. The menu will be chicken and noodles, homemade bread, salad and dessert. Coffee and punch are included in the meal. Those who are unable to come Peirce Leonard Eli Peirce, 80, of Ward, died Aug. 7 at his home of a lingering illness. He was born May 14, 1893, a son of Eli Thomas Peirce and Harper 723-325- 1 Olsen Margrette He married Ruth McCarty June 20, 1917, in the Salt Lake Temple. She died Dec. 25, 1939. He later married Helen Smith on Dec. 19, 1941, in the Salt Lake City Temple. He was a lifetime resident of Harper Ward where he operated a farm. He was a member of the LDS church where he served as counselor in the bishopric and in the presidency of the MIA and Sunday School. He was also a bus driver for Box Elder County School District for 35 years. Survivors include his wife, two sons, three daughters, Mr. Earl Peirce, Provo; Douglas Peirce, Provo; Mrs. Rulon J. (Margretta) Mrs. (Lucille) Nelson, Brigham City; fourteen grandchildren and nine Also surviving are two brothers and one sister, Arnold Peirce, Tustin, Calif.; Clarence Peirce, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Eulaia Jeppsen, Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be held at p m. Friday in the Harper Ward LDS church. With Bishop J.N. Webster conducting. Friends may call Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday prior to service at the Petersen Funeral Chapel. 1 Pearl M. King Pearl M. King, 83, of Salt Lake City, died Sunday, Aug. 5, in Great Falls, Mont, where she was visiting her daughter. She was born Dec. 15, 1888 in Salt Lake City, and attended Salt Lake schools. She married John J. King on Dec. 19, 1923, in the Salt Lake temple. She lived in Brigham City from then until 1947 where she was a member of the Sixth Ward. She Is now a member of the Salt Lake 11th Ward. She has been active in the LDS church Primary, Relief Society and Sunday School. She was an honorary Golden: Gleaner and is a member of the' Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Evan (Pearl) Crandall of Great Falls and a son, John L. King, Kearns; 10 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. Brothers and sisters are Mrs. William (Vivian) Newsome,-MrsFrank (Harriet) Paxman, Mrs. Vern (Miriam) Crawford, Mrs. Lfeon (Leone) Brown, Mrs. George (Mildred) Brandley and Albert L. Hendrickson, all of Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at the 11th Ward Chapel in Salt Lake City. Burial will be in the Salt Lake City cemetery. . Mary Jane Searle Mary Jane Searle, 89, of Salt Lake City) died Aug. 5 at home after a long illness. She was born May 16, 1884, in Heber City, to William Coleman and Lavina Jones Boren. She married Almon D. Searle. He died Nov. 3, 1904. She married his cousin, William Breed Searle, Sept. 14, 1906. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on Jan. 8, 1935. Among the survivors is Mrs. of Brigham City. The funeral was held Wednesday at the Pioneer 26th Ward and Burial was in the Salt Lake City cemetery. C. Robinson Jane (Jennie) Helen Cornish Robinson, 91, Franklin, Idaho, died Aug. 7 in Brigham City after a short illness. She was born Feb. 8, 1882, in Cove, Utah, to Robert Nephi and Emma Jane Howland Cornish. She was married to William Robinson on Dec. 14, 1904, in Logan. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS temple. He died in 1972. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Among survivors is Mrs. (LaRue) Stephen Smith, Brigham City. Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. in the Franklin LDS Ward chapel. Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until services. The group has been making teddy bears and even children's coats of the fabric which is given the class members to use. Transportation is a service offered by the senior program on Mondays and Fridays. A bus will call in Willard and Perry, if enough persons call for transportation. She was born Oct. 7, 1883, in Layton, a daughter of Joseph S. and Isabelle Smith Adams. She was married to William D. Cummings on June 22, 1904, in the Salt Lake LDS temple. He died in 1951. She was a member of the LDS church, a former Relief society teacher and was active in the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Surviving are one son and one daughter, Harold A. Cummings, Bountiful; Mrs. Leona C. Walker, Altadena, Calif; four two greatgrandchildren grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. G.L. (Elzada) Hess, Farmington. She was born Nov. 6, 1886, in LaJara, Colo., to Charles H. and Matilda Guyman White. She married Albert Bergen April 13, 1904 in Brigham City, he died March 17, 1969. She moved to Ogden in 1911 and was a member of the LDS church and Rebekah Lodge. Survivors include sons and daughters, Von M., and Albert Lee, both of Torrance; Mrs. Florence Glatt, Ogden; Mrs. Zola Starner, Salt Lake City; 10 19 greatgrandchildren; grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Emily Fisher, Salt Lake City. REG. 79c 1Q Class reunion Saturday The Box Elder High school Class of 1953 is having their reunion on Saturday with a picnic planned at Snow Park for all class members and their families between 12 and 3 p.m. Everyone interested in getting reacquainted with some of their and their old classmates families should plan on bringing their own food to the event. That evening at 7:30 p.m., a dinner has been scheduled for the Brigham City Community center. Cost will be $7 per couple.
