Ward, and new son to their home in Bloomington Ida., last Wednesday and remained their the rest of the week. Mr. Peterson and sons Harold and Reed drove over Sunday for her. The new grandson was blessed Sunday and given the name Calvin K. Ward. Sunday in Sacrament meeting the son of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Rasmussen was given the name Rue Y. and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Andreason was named Kathleen. Mrs. Willis Petersen returned home this week after spending ten days in Ogden with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Lee. Mrs. Petersen has been down with a throat ailment but is much improved. Weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Romer were Odell Romer and son Del Royce of Jerome, Ida., and Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Hansen of Salt Lake City. Sam Mortensen spent the weekend at Nyssa, Ore., visiting the George Dalys. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hansen and family and Kayleen Francom were dinner guests Sunday of the Bernie Petersens. Visiting the June Thompsons were the Lindon Sunday Thompson family of Tooele, the Blaine Hansen family of Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Torn-gre- n of Idaho Falls. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kroksh returned home Monday after a two weeks trip to San Diego where they visited their daughter, RaNae, Mrs. Jack Goring and family. Mr. and Mrs Virgil Glenn Jeppeson and family of Brigham recently purchased the home where the Earle Saunders family lived. They were welcomed into the ward and community Sundav at Sacrament meeting. ATTENTION: all members of the community the Board of Education has called a meeting for Feb. 18th. 7:30 p.m. at the ward chapel to discuss the Junior High problem. Olson Former Resident Honored Mr. and Mrs. David Holmgren of Tremonton, Mrs. Mary J Holmgren, Alfred Jensen, Mr and Mrs. Irving Christensen and Dena Christensen attended open house in honor of Olaf J Olson in Logan Sunday. Mr Olson was a former resident of Bear River City. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs Elmo Munson Sunday were Mrs. Albert Godfrey and son, Keith of Ogden. Weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Munson were Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Farnsworth and two children of Ogden. Mrs. Effie Johnson, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Marcell Johnson of Garland visited with Floyd Johnson who is receiving medical care at the Logan L. D. S. Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Holt and Mrs. Elma Petersen attended funeral services for Mrs. Annie Buttars at the Clarkston Ward chapel Friday. Progress Guild Meets The Future Progress Guild met at the home of Mrs. Erma Bourne Thursday evening. Mrs. Rae Petersen was chairman for the program and introduced Judge Jones of Brigham who gave an interesting discussion on "Womens Rights In the Law." Darwin Reeves, also of accordion Brigham presented selections. Luncheon was served by the hostess. Cam and Mr. and Mrs. Tarley Petersen and family returned home Sunday evening after having a few days visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Burnett and family at Moses Lake, Wash., Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gam and family of Seattle, Wash., came to Moses Lake to join the family for a visit. Principal and Mrs. Ralph Baird spent Friday evening at Salt Lake City where Mr. Baird attended a meeting held at the U. E. A. Building Family Party Mrs. Effie Johnson attended a family dinner party at the home of Mrs. Jeraldine Hansen at Ogden last week. The party was in compliment to Mrs. Johnsons son, Marcell, who was celebrating his birthday anniversary. Ten members of the family were present. Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Munson spent Wednesday and Thursday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Dave Allen and family at Ogden. Mrs. Earl Skinner and daughter, Karen, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Hess and family at Ogden last week. Little Fatty Hess accompanied them home to spend a few days. Book Lore Club The Book Lore Club met at the home of Mrs. Helen Mason Wednesday evening for their s'nt guests of Mrs. Hawkes parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reg Burt over the weekend. Bishop and Mrs. Ruebon Rhees and family were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Burt. Mr. and Mrs. Rhees arc parents of Mrs. Burt. Babies Blessed Two babies were given names in Services Sunday. Clinton Burt blessed his baby daughter and gave her the name of Burt and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Burt was blessed by his grandfather, and given the name of Dale Rhess Burt. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Breag-ge- r of Willard were visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Breagger Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Burton Anderson motored to Grace, Ida., Tuesday.
