Show Australia Student it Exchange Bishop and Mrs. Labrum have returned from a trip to Peru where they met their son, Elder Lynn G. Labrum at the close of his two years in the Peru Arequipa Mission. The three of them spent six days in Peru visiting the cities of Cuzca and Arequipa, Lima. They enjoyed some very interesting and educational sightseeing. While in Arquipa, they were the dinner guests of Dallin and Catheryn Nielsen of Fillmore. The two are presently serving a mission in that area. A tasty meal was served and some enjoyable visiting done. The Nielsens said they were enjoying their mission and said to say hello to everyone back home. On their return flight, the Labrums stopped off in Panama City to see the Panama Canal and in Mexico City to see the Pyramids. They had a very enjoyable trip but are happy to be back home again in the good n old USA. Elder Labrum will report his mission on Sunday, October 12th at 11:50 a.m. in the Meadow Ward. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Beckstrand, their son. Eva Mrs. and Jay, Beckstrand traveled to Salt Lake on October 4th to meet their son, Don, as he returned from his mission in the Japan Fukuoka area. It was a happy reunion at the airport. There to meet him were other family members, Robert Beckstrand and Lisa, daughter, Marilyn and Kerry DeVries and children, Hal and Jolynn Beckstrand and baby, Richard Beckstrand, Jean, Sandra and Mark Beckstrand, Bryan and Janice Haugh and baby and Melvin and Edith Cox. Part of the group assembled at the home of the DeVries in West Jordan for dinner and spend the night. Robert and Carlene Beckstrand and children attended the wedding of her sister, Sandy Ainge Scott Smith at and Spanish Fork on October 4th. Carlene and daughter Monica were in the reception line. The Beckstrands s spent the night with parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Ainge. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Richfield of Turner came to watch the football game and spent the with Harold evening and NaDean Beckstrand. Mrs. Turner is NaDeans sister. Mr. Daryl Pearson of Palo Alto, Calif, has been visiting at the home of his brother and sister-in-laStanley and Ila Pearson. Mrs. Chris Williams and children spent the weekend visiting with her mother in Cedar City. Gerald Luella and Edwards took a vacation trip and visited with relatives and friends along the way. They visited with their son, Monte, and family in Salem, Utah, Mrs. Laura in Edwards Orem, Utah, Jerry Lue Tafoya and family of West Valley City, Janell Ekker and family of Blackfoot, Ida., their neice, Mrs. Vickie (Toone) Pluta and the Frank Jensen family in Idaho Falls. Tuesday, 30, September they returned to the Salt Lake airport to say goodbye and best wishes to their grandson, Elder Steven M. Edwards as he departed to serve a two year L.D.S. Mission in the Osaka, Japan area. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Edwards, their grandsons, Kelly and Jody Val Edwards, drove to Fish Lake to enjoy the beautiful colors and it was truly a sight to behold.
