Show WOMAN DIES AT HOSPITAL mrs elizabeth izabeth ni dallam ballam davis good liate 63 years of age daughter a ot the late mrs E J i roundy died wednesday at a local hospital atter after a long illness funeral services will be held saturday afternoon at I 1 in the joseph william taylor chapel cli apel 25 south west temple street interment will be in wasatch lawn cemetery tile the body will wil lie in state from 10 0 k clock until na noon on in the chapel on the day of the funeral mrs goodliffe was known and beloved by hundreds of salt lake citizens she was born in london england march 24 1853 she cane came to the united states with her mother when a little child and resided in philadelphia la tor for two years in 1859 the family came to salt lake but the next neit year removed to washington D C and resided there until the daughter was 17 years ot of age the young woman worked tor for a year as a clerk in the department in 1870 she came to salt lake and resided here tor for a number ot of years taking a prominent part in salt lake theatrical circles she married arnold goodliffe ot of snowville Snow ville in the spring of 1882 and resided in snowville Snow ville tor for fourteen years mr fr goodliffe then removed to park valley and engaged in the mercantile me business until 1907 when 11 mrs rs goodliffe came to salt lake to c care are for her mother mrs roundy who died in january 1913 mrs airs goodliffe is survived by one sister mrs airs mary A rockwood of center ville antl iree children charles W goodliffe and mrs roxey goodliffe carter both of park valley and clarence M goodliffe of salt lake also by nineteen grandchildren tribune mrs goodliffe was a correspondent correspond eat to the news for many years writing under the nom de plume of bee |
