Show Wlio Tvill Oompoto? In the Semi-Weekly Deseret News of December 31st; 1895, I saw an article signed L. tf. H. entitled en-titled "Who will compote?" Now, Mr. Editor, we poor Dixev-itos Dixev-itos know so little of this world and its surroundings, never give a banter, and are generally very slow to take one, but still I will give you a few facts. Today I visited Samuel B. Hardy Har-dy at his residence and found him and his amiable wife sitting com-fortubly com-fortubly at their fireside. I said, "When were you born, father Hardy?" Har-dy?" He said, "On the 21st of September, 1804." " When did you join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?" "In May, 1842," he replied. "When were you married to your present wife?" They both said, "70 years ago this month." "How old are you mother Hardy?" Har-dy?" She replied 'Iwaj3 born on the lGth of September, 1806. 1 joined the Church in 1844." They are well preserved and I left my blessing with them. I then came south a few blocks and found father Lorenzo Clark of Mormon Batallion fame, comfortably comforta-bly seated, reading the Deseret News, without glasses, and aftar a friendly chat I said "How old are you father Clark?" , "I will be 90 in May," he replied. "When did you join the Church?' "In Deeember, 1835." He is robust, hale and hearty. Now wht has kept these brethren breth-ren in a goo I healthy condition has been plenty of hard work and hard living with sometimes a good home, and sometimes none at all; but always full of failh in the gospel gos-pel of Christ.
