Luncheon was served at noon, followed by an afternoon of sewing and Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chriss Sorensen in Mammoth on Thanksgiving Day were a daughter and her family, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wall of Granger, and Chriss Sorensen Jr., of Glendale, Calif. completing articles suitable for holiday giving. Attending were Mrs. Florence Fields, Mrs. Georgia Laird Mrs. Joan Dale, and Mrs. Bessie Toone. Dinner guests Thanksgiving Day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Thompson were their two sons and their families, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Thompson of Richfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Phil Thompson of Goshen. Now Soda Called A Wooly Boar w Miners Auxiliary Miners Union Auxiliary met in regular sessions last Wednesday, with Vice President Ellen Eataugh presiding. Plans were made for the annual Christmas Party, which will be held on Dec. 19. At the conclusion of the business meeting, a social hour was enjoyed, with Bingo and "500 furnishing the entertainment. Mr. and Mrs. Peter C. Peterson were pleasantly surprized last Sunday when members of Mr. and Mrs. Stcrl Laird received word last week of the birth of a grandson, bom to Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson of Payson. The little boy was bom Nov. 15 In the Pay-so- n hospital. He has three brothers and a sister. Mrs. Anderson is the former Jerrilene Laird. their family gathered at the family home for a birthday celebration for both Mr. and Mrs. Peterson. A turkey dinner brought by the family, wag enjoyed during the afternoon, and the honored guests received many lovely and useful gifts. Attending were Anker Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hadfield, Springville; Mr. and Mrs. Gary Peterson and two boys, Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Peterson and two boys, Springville; Mr. Peterson's sister, Mrs. Andrew Jensen and daughter and son, Jessie and Bob, Provo; Mr. and Mrs. John Thomas, Bishop and Mrs. Ronald Thomas and two children, Mr. and Mrs. Jens Peterson and Morley Peterson, Eureka. lunch. Later in the day the Gerald Laird family joined the group and spent the evening at the Laird home. Tenth birthday occasion for party Mrs. Theodore Haynes honored her son, Teddy, at a birthday party last Saturday afternoon on the occasion of his 10th birthday anniversary. The nicely arranged party was held at the Memorial Building. The Sacrament was passed by Nichi Castleton, Dennis Bate, Max Berry, Kent Bigler, Ray Schow and Kirk Drussell; organ solo, Dorenda Dennis of Orem; speaker, Mrs. George Forsey, Jr., of Salt Lake City; Closing song, Elliot R. Peterson of Salt Lake City, accompanied by Jan Kitt. The benediction was George Forsey. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Chat-wi- n drove to Evanston, Wyoming on Thursday and enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lake. Jerald Chatwin. Mrs. Mae Curwen is spending the week in Salt Lake City with her sister, Mrs. Hattie Jones.
