It has long been the policy of the command at Hill AFB to work hard for the betterment of conditions for the men and to maintain a relationship of teamwork to get the job done. While the command realizes the situation is far from perfect, it is encouraging to learn that efforts in this direction are appreciated. The attitude expressed by the above letter helps to redouble the command's determination to maintain and improve standards of the base in this direction. Col. C. B. Root has expressed his gratification to all personnel who are responsible for the measure of success we have attained in making Hill Air Force Base a good place to live and work. Anderson received appointment of Commanding Officer Hq and Hq Squadron, 25th Air Depot Wing. Captain Robert B. Ladd, Operations Officer is scheduled to attend school in Virginia in July. Captain Henry G.
