The climax t the great nation-wide drive of the Protestant Episcopal Church In the Ight western states of the western province, will be ushered In this week wltii the arrival on the coast from New York of the Re Robert W. Pat-ton, Pat-ton, D. D., director general of the i whole campaign. Dr. Patton will go directly to San Francisco where he will join forces with the Rt. Rev. Ulahdp Hunting of Nevada, and the Tit. Rev. Bishop Coadjutor Parson, of the Diocese of California. The result re-sult of their joint enthusiasm and labors la-bors doubtless will be fell up and itfa the length of the coast It is felt that with splendid reports coming from Oregon and Washington as well as from California, the task of bringing in tfTe rest of the province pro-vince will not be difficult. Those sections sec-tions which are behind, It Is felt, have languished because of their geographical detachment from the center of enthusiasm and activity. Dr. Patton Is recognized as one o! the most dynamic forces In the Protestant Pro-testant Episcopal Church and the whole work of the church in tho west i expected to enter a new and more L active phase with his arrival.
