August Plans and preparations are nearly complete for the gala event, which westpacks fun, excitement and ern hospitality into three big event filled days. Fair days will get underway Thursday with the opening of tne doors at Wasatch High School where exhibits .of foods, needlearts, crafts, etc., will work, e;o on display. Displays will continue through Friday and Saturday. A tractor driving contest will feature of the be the kick-of- f Fair this year, while kiddie's races at the Fair Grounds will attract youngsters. Big feature of the afternoon will be the Heber Valley Jaycee Thrill Circus which will commence at 2:00 p.m. at the Heber Race Track. A talent show will be held that evening in the Wasatch Stake Tabernacle. It is free to the public. Judging of dairy animals, horses sheep, cattle, swine, poultry and pets will take place during Friday morning and afternoon at the Fair Grounds. The annual flower show will open to the public at 1:30 p.m.. Scene of the beautiful show, "Autumn's Floral Fanfare," will be the auditorium of the North School. Horse races and calf roping will take place at 2:00 p.m. "Friendship Thru Knowledge" has been selected as the theme for this year's parade, scheduled to start at 5th South and Main Street Friday evening at 6 p.m., and spectators may expect to see a large number of beautiful floats.
