Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Bre-reton Bre-reton of Springville, Utah were in Milford visiting their aunt and uncle, Jim andDora Smiths on. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Gus-tin Gus-tin of Reno, Nev. were here last week at the home of their sister and brother, Jim and Dora Smithson. They motored together to Salt Lake City to attend their sister's funeral, Mary Lee Wood, who passed away June 28th, making three sisters Jim and Dora have lost in eight months. Visitors over the weekend at the homes ofMr.andMrs. Leslie Roberts and brother and sister, Wayne Roberts, were Mrs. Arleene Talbot and two children of Las Vegas Ve-gas and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Roberts, Ruby and Garry, of Layton, Utah. Hal and Karlene Edwards and three sons, Scott, Adam and Kevin, of Glendale, Calif, have been visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Edwards. Gene and Linda Leigh spent the 4th of July with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. McDonald. They fished, hiked, done some rockhound-ing, rockhound-ing, and then drove to Leh-mans Leh-mans Caves and on up to Wheeler Peak Campgrounds and had a wonderful steak dinner. Linda is the daughter daugh-ter of Dr. W. L. McDonald. She and her husband Gene live in Salt Lake City. The descendants of James McKnight (mostly the Jean-ette Jean-ette McKnight Rollins division) divi-sion) met Saturday, July 2, at the Mlnersville School park for a reunion and organization. or-ganization. There were also descendants of Milly McKnight Mc-Knight Myers and Hannah Mcknight Croft, and of David McKnight. A meeting was held where members registered regis-tered and those of the Jean-ette Jean-ette division picked up identification iden-tification name cards with pictures of her and her husband, hus-band, George W. Rollins, on them. Histories were read and stories told about James McKnight by a grandson, Stan McKnight, who passed away just a few days later, on July 5th. A picnic lunch was enjoyed by all attending, though the wind tried to blow it all away. Everyone enjoyed the day in spite of a bad wind storm and many people renewed old friendships and made new ones. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Marion Walker during the 4th of July holidays were Tom Walker of Cedar City, Glenna Foley of Long Beach, Calif., who also came for her class reunion, Mike and Darrie Walker and sons, Davie and Ben, of Kanab, Utah, Paula Walker and two daughters, Wendy and Krls-tine Krls-tine of Cedar City, Maurine Edwards and Bill Taylor of Stockton and Farmington, Utah, Helen and Jack Wilson of Clovis, Calif., Lee and Naomi Baker of Salt Lake City, and Alfred and Masell Baker and daughter from Rock Springs, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Baker, Mr. and Mrs. Craig Baker and four children, all of Salt Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Baker of the Salt Lake area, Mr. Ray Baker of Escondido, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Al-fred Baker and daughter of Rock Springs, Colo., andMr. and Mrs. Jack Wilson of Clovis, Calif, were all here for the funeral of their mother moth-er and grandmother, Edna Baker, on Friday, July 1st. Mr. and Mrs. Cleve Welch and three children from Reno spent four days over the 4th holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Gillins, and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Thompson and fam ily. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Gillins Gil-lins and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Myers went to Enterprise 1 ast Saturday to attend a wed -ding reception of their niece, Carol Barlocher. Mrs. Altheda Gale and Euzell Thomas received word of the death of their sister, Aleen Louis, of Compton, Calif. She died June 29th and was buried July 2nd. Mrs. Delia Allinson of Eureka, Utah spent several days last week with her sisters, sis-ters, Altheda Gale and Euzell Thomas. Altheda Gale attended the Oliver W. Gale reunion Saturday Sat-urday in Beaver. About 85 persons attended. The 4th of July weekend was the occasion for a reunion re-union of the Mitch Fisher family. They had a picnic at Ponderosa on Saturday, attended church services on Sunday and observed the 4th in Mlnersville at the parade and program. All of their children, except daughter Terry Judy, were present. Those here were Mr. and Mrs. Mike Fisher and two children of Woodland, Calif., Jan Fisher of Sacramento and son, Allen, who has spent the last six weeks with his grandparents inMilford.Mr. and Mrs. Tim Fisher and two children of Caliente, who had just returned from visiting relatives in Louisiana, Mr. and Mrs. Rob Fisher and son of Provo, and Michelle and Mr. and Mrs.BartFish-er Mrs.BartFish-er and two sons of Milford. Others who joined them were Mr. and Mrs. Gael Elmer of Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hansen and daughter of Salt Lake City. The Elmers El-mers were guests at the home of his mother, Cree Elmer, and the Hansens were visiting Amanda's mother, Beatrice Oxley.
