Show emery county progress January 12. 1936 State Board Of Health Urges Polio Serum Use tty Mrs Flora Jensen Huntington The following letter was received by Mrs Elmo Oeary, County chairman of Infantile Par alysis, from S. Bruce Hanks, of the State Representative National Foundation of Infantile Paralysis. Dr. A. A. Jenkins of the Utah State Health Department has advised us that a large percentage of the vaccine allotted to Emery County has not been used. The parents evidently do not know that the time to prevent polio next summer is NOW, and the vaccine is worthless until it enters the arms of their children. Will you please do all in your power to sell the vaccine program to your PTA and other clubs and organizations in your county, as these community leaders can do much to see that the vaccine is used as soon as it is released. It will be recalled and redistributed' to other counties if it is not used in the very near future. It will also be impossible to vaccinate all of the eligible children if everyone waits until May or June. ORANGEVILLE NEWS .Tack Bell and family vis- ited friends here Sunday.
