Show War Veteran Is Flier In Korea Tex Mosely, fighter pilot in World War II was reported missing in action ac-tion for more than two months, is once more in active duty. He answered ans-wered a call from the army reserves reser-ves as a liaison pilot in the field artillery. For the past two years he had been assigned to recruiting duties at the Salt Lake Army Recruiting Station. He was commissioned a First Lieutenant when he reported report-ed at Fort ORD, Cal., and went from there to Korea by way of Hawaii and Japan. Lt. Mosely is now flying over Korea. Tex is the DHS star athlete that was reported "Missing in action" in World War II. As a fighter pilot of the air force he was shot down near Rowen, France. He lived with the French underground for two months before he was liberated. During his absence at this time his wife and two small sons returned re-turned and will make their home with Mrs. Mosely's parents, at Veyo. His mother, Mrs. Laura Egan, of Franciso visiting Tex before his departure, de-parture, returning a week ago. She spent fur months this summer in Texas, visiting her family, fishing and sightseeing. She returned on a Sunday and left the following Wednesday to see her son. While in San Francisco the family enjoyed enjoy-ed sightseeing and visiting points of interest. |
