Show Stake Goid-Green Ball Week's Social Feature Two Nights Will Cater To Adults And Young The Roosevelt stake amusement amuse-ment hall will be the scene of the annual Gold and Green ball of the Roosevelt stake Friday and Saturday nights, is an announcement an-nouncement made by Mrs. Helen Hel-en Larson, stake president of the Young Women's Mutual Improvement Im-provement Assn., and Robert Andrews, stake YMMIA president. presi-dent. According to the two M.I.A. officials, on Friday night Junior Gleaners and Junior M-Men and all other adults of the stake will join in the dance program, which will begin at 9 p. m., and will be introduced by a special floor show. Highlighting the floor show will be a dance with all wards represented, under un-der the direction of Mrs. Norman Nor-man Murphy. There will also be a feature number by a group of girls. . , . Queen for the Friday ' event will be chosen from all of the Gleaner girls of the stake. Reynolds eight-piece orchestra will furnish the music for the ball which promises to be outstanding out-standing in every detail. On Saturday evening, the v o u n g e r set, including the Scouts, Explorers, Bee-Hive and Mia-Maids groups, are invited, st which time a queen will be selected from the Mia-Maid classes of the stake. A good orchestra or-chestra has also been engaged for Saturday, and a floor show will start the evenings entertainment enter-tainment at 8:30 p. m. |
