Deanna Chestnut and family, Ronda and Todd, and friends, Mike Gil and Carrie Wright, visited Mr. and Mrs. Henrie Squires last weekend. Sunday, Mrs. Squires served birthday dinner in honor of DeeAnna and Ruth Squires. Mr. and Mrs. Mac Rae Squires and children, Cheri, Heidi and Heather were also present. Guy Miller and Shauna, Salt Lake, were weekend visitors at the home of Guys mother, Mrs. Bessie Miller. Eagle Scout In Africa Paul Mower, the son of James and Jone Mower, has received his Eagle Scout award in Nairobi, Africa. The award was presented by Mr. Nelson, the Director of the AID Program. Paul is now an assistant scoutmaster with a troop of 30 black Africans. New Arrivals Danny and Rae Ann Williams Woolsey proudly announce the birth of a baby boy born Friday, February 13, 1976, at the Sevier Valley Hospital in Richfield. The little fellow weighed 4 lbs. 7'j oz. and 17 inches long. He has a grandmother, Mrs. Erna Williams, Salina, a grandmother in Escalante, Mrs. Clella Woolsey, and great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Woolsey, also of Escalante. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Thompson received word of the birth of a new granddaughter on February 12, 1976. The little Miss will be named Jessica. She was born at the Woodland Park Hospital in Portland, Oregon, and weighed 7 lbs. 4 oz. and was 20'j inches long. Her proud parents are Mr. and Mrs. Stan (Valerie) Glazner, of Vancouver, Washington. Jessica will be welcomed home by a brother, Benjamin, who is 15 months old. Mr. and Mrs. Barney Jeffrey motored to Salt Lake City and joined Barney's two sisters, Mrs. Lillie McGinty and Mrs. Etta Bishop. Then started on an 11 day vacation in Hawaii. They saw Pearl Harbor, the Mormon Temple, National Cemetery, the Cultural Center, and visited four islands. Thelma and Barney enjoyed their trip very much and would like to return there for another vacation. While they were gone, the Jeffreys became great grandparents of a new great grandson, Trenton Dale Thalman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Thalman, of Salt Lake. Barney and Thelma spent a day getting acquainted with the baby. They also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Lynford Peterson. Mrs. Merle Peterson returned home two weeks ago from a visit with her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Mullican, in Houston, Texas. Mrs. Peterson says she enjoyed the sunshine very much.
