Show I American Legion Annual Election Nominations Made Candidates were nominated for the various offices of the organ-ization organ-ization at the regular meeting of the Cedar Post No. 74 of the American Legion held Friday evening. The annual election of officers wilt be held tomorrow evening, Friday. August 1, at 8:30 o'clock in the Armory building and all members of the organization are urged to be present and cast their vote for the comrades of their choice. Nominees listed under the various positions are as follows: Commander: Durham Morris, Stanley Brads haw, M. D. Arns. Elias Leigh, and Loyal C. Corry. Adjutant: Dr. A. L. Oraff. G. R. Parry, WUford Webster, Vergene Simkina. J. Harvey Wright. L. C. Miles, Herbert Mime and R. J. Shay. Service Officer: Merl Olbson. Finance Officer: M. D. Arm, Ralph O. Jones, Guy C. Tucker, George W. Jones and L. C. Miles. Chaplain: Will Jones. Elvld Williams, Wil-liams, and George W. Orunshaw. Historian: L. C. Miles. Sergeant-at-arms: Hyrum Perry, Ervln Dustin, and Willard Perkins. Child Welfare: Blaine Betensen, William Melling. and Frant Esplin. Alerte Officer: S. C. Lamb. Boys' Bute Chairman: O. R. Parry, Rass Jones and Lehl Jones. Executive committee (three to be elected) : Tom Lund, Wells Williams, Fernlelgh Gardner. Lehl Jones, P. E. Anderson, J. M. Brown, L. C. Corry, Elias Leigh, Lyman Sevy, and Francis Mlddleton. The nominees for Commander who receives the second and third highest vote will be elected Vice Commanders of the Post. |
