Show Bountiful Woman Pioneer of Utah N Taken By Death Deat Mrs Sarah Hannah Garrett Fackrell 84 84 Utah pioneer and resi rest dent of Bountiful died early Wed Wed- Wednesday Wednesday nesda of a coronary occlusion at ather ather ather her home East Fifth South street at Bountiful She had been ill for more than two months A widow of the late David Fack Fack- Fackrell rell she was one of the three pi pioneers pi pi- pioneers of Kimball camp Daughters of the Utah Pioneers at Bountiful She was born February 5 1856 1556 at Villen Hall Hail Worcestershire England a daughter dau of nf William Villiam and Maria Maycock Garrett When only six years of age she arrived in America Am rica with a sister brother and grandmother gr The little group settled in Bountiful where her parents joined them four years later She lived Jived herc here until u til 1875 when she went to Randolph where she married her husband on May 27 1877 Two years ears later on October 2 1879 they received their endowments in the old Salt Lake endowment house She was always active in L. L D. D S. S church work During her residence at Randolph she was treasurer of the Relief society from 1895 to 1898 Beginning in 1897 she served as a teacher in the Relief society for 15 years and also served as pres dent ident i of the Primary organization from 1900 until 1913 In 1915 thc the family famil- moved to Bountiful where she had since re re- re I I sided Here she was also devoted I to church duties serving as Relief society teacher r for a period of 20 I years ears starting in 1916 11 was an active member of Kimball camp until three months ago when her health forced her to retire from all active duties Surviving are arc five daughters Mrs Inez Hoge of Paris Idaho Mrs Edna Snowball of Randolph Mrs Pearl Allred Alired of Preston Ida Mrs Mis Vera Vcra Day and Miss Lucy Fackrell both of Bountiful two brothers I William Villiam E. E of Preston Ida F. F A. A Fackrell of Randolph one sister Mrs Priscilla Davis of Boun 27 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren Funeral will be conducted Saturday at 2 p m m.
