Volume XV Issue XII The Ogden Valley news Page 15 June 1, 2008 Students Show Their Patriotism Pioneer Day at Valley Elementary Fourth graders did things the old-fashioned way on Pioneer Day. Third graders at Valley Elementary performed--with both fervor and solemnity--a variety of songs and verses in a patriotic program held in May. Weber High LDS Seminary Graduation—60 Valley youth honored The Huntsville LDS Stake Center was the setting on Sunday, May 18, 2008 as sixty Valley youth graduated from Weber High Seminary. To receive a diploma a student must complete four years of course study and demonstrate high standards of conduct. Students may also receive certificates of completion for one, two, or three years of course work and attendance at class. The following students from the Valley received either diplomas or certifications of achievement at the graduation services: Eden First Ward: Katie Morgan Creager, Josh R. Hogge, B. Gino Peart, Michael Scott Peterson, Danielle Kaci Shaum, and Candace Storey. Eden Second Ward: Joe Lambert, Bowen J. Lewis, Randee O’Brien, Reilee Jo O’Brien, Stephen R. Ormsbee, Joshua W. Pack, Nathan S. Radmall, and Mychel Rhiannon Scott. Huntsville First Ward: Benjamin M. Jenkins, Hailey R. Maxwell, Joshua Naukea Naumu, Tyrel James Parkinson, Heather Powell, and Benjamin Robinson.
