Show Neil Is Retiring from Oak Tavern After 38 33 years of continuous service to the patrons of the Oak local tavern genial and well known Bill Nell is retiring to enjoy a well earned rest and engage in his pet hobby of going fishing Bill started his long shift shUt at atthe atthe atthe the Oak on April 19 1920 for Henry and Matt Leahy who vho were partners In la the Oak Harold Leahy and Jack Leahy I were also employed at the Oak during this period After the death of Henry SprIggs Matt Leahy carried on the business until his death several several several sev sev- eral years later Harold and Jack sack Leahy moved to Salt Lake City about ten years ago and Les Roach and Bill Dill Nell Neil have been partners in the business business busi busi- ness since These two congenial souls have the outstanding record of 38 33 years of working together without a word of disagreement and have come along through the years in a most moat remarkable state of harmony Les Cappy Ii Roach ach will carry carryon on and we wish him a long and busy career as host of The Oak Tavern and Billiard Parlor Main street would seem strange without with out this place of business |
