John Beckett, widow of tho lato John Bcckott. whoso homo was In this city for ten yars, but who Is now enjoying a thrco months' stay In California beforo going to Honolulu. To me Salt Lake Is ono of the most beautiful places In this country," said Mrs. Beckct, 'and I hope to call it my home somo day.' At Catalina Island. "Mr and Mrs. E. L. Sheets and their three children are occupying ono of tho beautiful cottages at Catalina. They havo been thero for three weeks and are to stay somo time longer. Thoy live In San Francisco, you know, but still call Salt Lake their home. Mr. and Mid, James Chlpman and daughters were at Catalina and In Los Angeles on their way homo from the Northwest, where they took In tho fair Mr. and Mrs J. J. Broughall aro located Indefinitely at Ocean Park, where Mr. Broughall has largo Interests. Mrs. Paul Nolan and Miss May Nolan wero there also, but have retunfed to Salt Lake. Adelbert Beesloy has a position with one of the bands at Ocean Park and will bo there until lato In the fall. Other Pleasure-Seekers.
