Show J Booth-Alleman Marriage Jan. 16, At Hotel Utah Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Helen Booth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Booth of Spanish Fork, and Karl H. Alleman, son of Mrs. Emma Em-ma K. Alleman of this city. The ceremony was performed last Wednesday in the bridal suite of Hotel Utah with Mayor Earl J. Glade of Salt Lake City, performing perform-ing the ceremony. The newlyweds left immediately immediate-ly after the wedding on a few days trip to the west coast, and upon their return will make their home in Spanish Fork, temporarily. temporar-ily. The bride was lovely in a gown of brocaded satin and net, fashioned fashion-ed with leg-o-mutton sleeves, V-neckline V-neckline and- sweeping train. Her fingertip veil of bridal illusion fell from a halo of net, and she carried a colonial bouquet of orchids, or-chids, narcissus and white roses. Miss June McKell, maid of honor, hon-or, wore blue crepe and carried a bouquet of gardenias centered with an orchid. Bridesmaids were Miss Joan Alleman, Springville, and Miss Ether May Jex, Spanish Fork, who were gowned in pink taffeta and net and carried gardenias gar-denias and pink roses. Raleigh Williams of Spanish Fork performed the duies of best man. Both mothers of the couple wore black gowns and orchid corsages. Following the ceremony the newlyweds were honored at a wedding wed-ding dinner in the Gold Room of the Hotel Utah. The bride's marriage plans were formally made known at an announcement an-nouncement breakfast given Sunday Sun-day at the Club Radar in Provo by her parents. Monday evening, the bride was honored at a tea, given at he First ward church in Spanish Fork. |
