Show ANOTHER PIONEER GONE THE DEATH OF ORSON P MILES LAST EYG He WnJ Widely Known in This Community and Highly Respected For His DIany Sterling Qualities Orson P Miles did at his residence SSI Second street at 1030 last evening aged 62 years He had been ill for some time and his death was due to a I complication of diseases Mr Miles was one of the pioneers and had resided continuously in Salt Lake since the early days He followed fol-lowed commercial pursuits and was associated sociated with the firm of Kimball Lawrence during practically all of its existence When that house retired from business some years ago his services ser-vices were secured by the Cunningto company where he was engaged until the fatal illness seized him Mr Miles was a man of sterling integrity in-tegrity who met every duty in a quiet way and moved in such an unostentatious unostenta-tious manner that his real worth and strength were not fully known except to those who were intimately associated associ-ated with him Mr Miles was a gooc citizen in the fullest sense of that term and a wide circle of friends will mourn his death He was a kindhearted kind-hearted genial gentleman He leaves a wife Mrs Margaret Miles who is a sister of Henry W Lawrence and Mrs Julia Kimball His daughters are Mrs John Sharp and Dr Luella Miles while he leaves three sons James L Henry W and Milton Mil-ton M The announcement of the funeral will appear later |
