Show 1J U 25, 1952 HILL TOP TIMES Congratulates Top Airman Page t Hill Boxers Win 4 Out of 5 Bouts Two The Hill AFB Boxing team had a field-nigin the fights held at the base gym April 17th as they took four of the five bouts with e opponents. Hill's two entrants in the Air Force Wide Boxing tourney at Lackland AFB, Texas, May 1, 2, & 3, Al Heredia and Chuck Storey, fought tune-u- p fights for that meet. Storey took on Bill Shaw, also of the Hill team, in a three-roun- d exhibition while Heredia beat Don Kennington via a TKO in the 3rd round. Kennington is a civilian em ploye at Hill who has had 51 fights. Little Forrest Hudson of Hill got the base team off on the right foot when he kayoed his State School opponent in the second frame of brawl. their In the class Rowdy Roosevelt Charles of Hill won the decision in a "Pier-six- " slugfest. Jesse Stacks and Chick Ransome, both of the Hill squad, fought three fast and furious rounds in the 147' pound division with the close de cision going to Stacks. Hill's only loss of the night was suffered by Doc Bristo who lost a TKO in the second round.
