Mining Co Elects Officers The annual meeting for the purpose of electing a board of directors for I the ensuing year of the Spanish Mining Milling Company was held at the city hall last Monday and the following follow-ing directors were elected Gomer Thomas Henry Wolf Henry avis Andrew Jensen John T Morgan Mor-gan Hyrum Christensen and Roy Cloward Later the directors met and elected Joiner Thomas president Hyrum Christensen vicepresident and Andrew Jensen secretary and treasurer w Manager Henry Wqlf of the Spanish Mining Milling Co and B F Woodward Wood-ward made a trip to the mine yesterday yester-day which is situated at the head of Water Canyon they were unable to take their horses any further than the mouth of the canyon on account of a snow slide but both men being use to snow decided to make the trip to the mine by foot and Mr Woodward said he was well paid for his trip in finding the dolimitc lime manganese and hum tito of iron as is found in Tintic and all other large mining camps He said he was much plcasod to find that the company had a thorough practical mining min-ing man as manager and if given a fair chance will sure make a mine for the company Mr Woodward had all he could do to reach the mine it being his first real hard work since he was hurt at the IdahoGem Mine but he is on the street today feeling fine
