The National Association of Postmasters held their annual convention in Brigham City, Utah last week with 200 in attendance. Postmaster Henry Nielson of Brigham City was host Postmaster. Officials in attendance included W. D. Brewer, regional Operations Director; Ernest S. Windbigler.In-specto- r In Charge and Walter E. Elder, Director U.S. Civil Service Commission, all of Denver, and George E. McDonald, Field Service Officer, Salt Lake City. Also George Hicks, Postmaster of Casper, Wyoming, National Executive Committeeman and David R. National Chairman Educational Committee. Mrs. Emma Russell, Postmaster of Roy, National Committee Member of Education, had charge of an Educational exhibit at the Tabernacle. It was an outstanding event and photographs of it were sent to Washington, D C.. to be published in the Postmasters Ga Tro-vithic- k. Held Meeting By Kiwani-Anne- s New officers of the Roy Kiwani-Anne- s were elected at the regular meeting at the Ogden Country Club, Friday, June 20th. Chosen as president for the coming year was Mrs. Lorene Oleson, Mrs. Margaret Sorensen, vice president; Mrs. Gayle Moffit, secretary; Mrs. Maxine Brown, treasurer; Mrs. Ruth Ure, historian and publicity. Mrs. Maxine Brown acted as hostess at the delightful luncheon, other members present were Mrs. Lyle Hinchdiff, Mrs. Merle Coleman, Mrs. Lanetha Pierce, Mrs. Millie Stevens. Mrs. Edna Seifert, Mrs- Nola Rundqulst, Mrs. Shirley Smith, Mrs. Marie Butler and Mrs. Ruth Ure. - n Morning. Florence Manning, Postmaster from Hooper was also in attendance. Assistant Postmaster Zula Pauling from Roy and Assistant Postmaster Earl James from Clearfield attended the Friday sessions. Mrs. jars 20 1923 Surviving are his widow, five sons and one daughter, Elmer J. Fielding. Syracuse, Eli Fielding, Spokane, Wash.; Albert J. and Nolan W. Fielding, Hooper; Arthur P. Fielding, Roy; Mrs. Albert iCecile) Grose. Ogden; 20 grandchildren. 18 one brother. Nephi Fielding. Shel-lyIdaho. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1 p m. in the LDS Hooper Second Ward Chapel by Bishop Francis V. Simpson. Burial will be in the Hooper cemetery. Mr. Fielding was born Feb. 2, 1879, in Hooper, a son of James and Mary Dyson Fielding. He was a farmer until retiring in 1952 He was a member of the Weber County Farm Bureau and former baord member of the Hooper Irrigation Co. He was genealogy committee chairman and served on the welfare committee of the LDS Hooper Second Ward He was a member of the LDS Lakeview Stake High Priest Quorum. On Nov 26, 1902, he married Jessie Louise Byington in Ogden. They received endowments in the LDS Salt Lake Temple on June 39c PRESERVES 20 oz.
