The How the power of God set forth in the Bible brings peace and harmony will be the topic of a free lecture on Christian Science to be given here Thursday, March 30, by Florence Middaugh of Los Angeles in Second Church auditorium, 566 E. So. Temple at 8 p.m. Miss Middaugh will speak on Christian Science: The Panacea for World Unrest. The lecture is free, and local members have invited the public to attend. A native of Colorado, Miss Middaugh is currently on a nationwide speaking tour as a member of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship. Prior to entering the public practice of Christian Science healing, she was active in the musical profession. Kearns American League WBBA wishes to extend an invita- tion to any boy interested in entering the King Contest for this year to do so b yregistering at the following homes: M. B. Announces Gold and Green Ball Friday The Kearns Sixth Ward is holding its Gold and Green Ball Friday, March 24, from 7 to 11 p.m. in the Kearns Stake House. The theme will be Spring Fantasy. Nancy Newman won a prize for submitting this original theme. Music fo rthe occasion will be provided by the Salisbury Orchestra, supplemented by a floor show during the intermission. Refreshments will be served. A 50 cent donation is required for admittance and it will be a dressy dress affair. Magna Altar Society Sponsoring Spring Lunches, Fashion Show The Altar Society of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Magna, will sponsor a Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show on Saturday, April 8. The affair will be held in the parish social hall at 1 p.m. Mrs. William Costanzo Jr., who is in charge of the fashion show, states that the latest in spring and summer fashions will be shown courtesy of the Best Shop.
