Show Services To Be Held Friday For Mrs. Bertha Eccles .Wright - Funeral services will be held Friday Fri-day noon in the Grandview LDS Ward Chapel, 2930-20th East, for Mrs. Bertha Eccles Wright, prominent prom-inent Utahn and southeast resident. The daughter of David Eccles and Bertha Jensen Eccles, she died in a Salt Lake hospital of a heart ailment Monday evening. Well-known in Utah and Calif, drama circles Mrs. Wright had studied dramatics in Berlin, Germany, Ger-many, New York and Pasadena Playhouse. She was an active ' worker in the LDS church and was president of the Relief Society in the Wilshire Ward in Los Angeles for many years. J. Reuben Clark, second counselor coun-selor in the First Presidency, will be the principal speaker at the services and Bishop O. E. Aylett, will conduct. She is survived by two sons, David E. Wright, Madrid, Spain; and Karran E. Wright, Los Angeles; five daughters, Mrs. Grant J. Wright, Holladay; Mrs. Ray Cresap, Spokane, Wash.; Mrs. G. Kirk Graff and Mrs. Robert Rudd, Salt Lake and Mrs. Robert M. Brinton, El Monte, Calif.; 34 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. grand-children. Friends may call at 260 East South Temple Thursday 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 to 11:15 a.m. Burial will be in the family plot in Ogden cemetery, Friday at 3 p.m. |
