Club in conjunction with Garrett Honda Motorsports is pleased to announce the holding of the first annual Sportsmans Challenge. The event w ill be held Sept. 6th at Franks fiat in Levan canyon. The event will be comprised of teams of four contestants. A rifleman, archer, shotgunner, and muzzleload shooter. Each team w ill select one member to shoot one of the above mentioned weapons. That shooter will have 3 to 5 shots of varying distances. The individual w ill be scored for accuracy on the event they choose to shoot. A member of a team may shoot only one of the four events. At the beginning of the shoot the riders will le given a map and score sheet and must be able to find their way to the next event. After completion of the four events a bonus round will be shot with a wrist rocket. After this event, riders will be served lunch and are free to ride at their leisure. The event may he televised on At Your Leisure; a local outdoor recreation program. Doug Millet may also be in attendance. Cash prizes will be awarded in addition to ATV accessories for winning teams and individuals. is a must. Given the nature of the event, absolutely NO alcohol may be consumed during competition.
