The oppressive way in which the courts continually wipe out individual freedoms never cease to amaze. Big Brother is already here! exquestion the of the expert pertness I psychologists who decreed these farm children to be maladjusted socially. (Is the psychologist married? Children? How many, one or two? Divorced?) I find it interesting that not a few of these so called experts are single, divorced, have no children or just one or two, or their personal lives otherwise militate against their expertness. Since when is a child from a large family socially maladjusted? On the contrary, the very nature of being brought up in a large family precludes this. Do the experts mean that even though one can relate to other humans in a loving way and share as one must in a large family that they are maladjusted socially simply because they are not oriented to our sick American Society at large? I think not. Rather it is our society which is maladjusted because it can no longer tolerate rugged in- or any other individualism the very foundation of the courage dividualism built our society has just gotten rid of our Will T.V. the courts pronounce that we must bring a TV into our home, that our children may view the vulgar and cretinizing fare and be psychologically desensitized just as the rest of society is, to prevent that from being socially maladjusted? Can we afford to annihilate everyone into the same sheepish mold and still preserve our freedoms Absolutely not! The American Family is falling apart right and left and all the sociologists, ad Psychologists, etc. nauseam can do is enlist the help of the courts to bring about the break up of yet another family if possible. And this family is successfully functioning and healthy and having close ties in spite of the sick society around them. The experts the contribution (and lawyers and judges) is to put the honest hard working godfearing father in jail! the If Sociologists, Psychologists and lawyers and judges have all the answers (or any answers), why are their own families is disarray along with the rest of the society in which they live? And why aren't they able to stem the tide of ruination falling on the family in the form of divorce, alcoholism, sexual homosexuality, permissiveness, abortion, etc.? What causes me to become so enraged whenever I find out that my teenage daughter and my wife have lied to me or excluded me from conversations? The same thing occurs every time they disagree with me, dont do as I suggest they do, or even when I become tense. I get so angry I curse and blow my top till I almost bust my vocal chords. I make them cry quite often, which in turn makes me feel like Ive destroyed all the love and respect they once had for me. I really love them and live with a constant fear that something bad might happen to those closest to me. But I know my harshness and cruel behavior do more damage to my loved ones than physical harm. Can you PLEASE help me? A. You are quite right that your ungovernable temper can damage loved ones and destroy your happiness. The solution is very simple. Learn to control yourself. You do not need to become enraged. Cool it. Take charge of yourself. Curb your anger. Practice and master mental and emotional thought control You can govern your temper if you make up youi mind that you want to do so. Then do it. If you dont, you are headed for real unhappiness.
