Their first performance of two weeks ago, at the Appreciation Banquet at the Helenic Memorial Building, was the beginning of a long season for the newly formed group, which includes three trips, , and numerous engagements around 'the city. The TV program consisted of mainly religious Christmas numbers, and this program plus a few additions was presented late in the evening. These engagements concluded the programs for the choir until the ' new year, but after school convenes again in January the choir will be kept busy. V, Down through the pages of history, men have been at odds because of differences in possessions, Drowess, physical characteristics and conditioning. Because of mans innate desire to survive he has sought to better his surroundings in accord with his likes and his security. The differences, inherently a part of man, have been the objectives that men have tried to improve. The whole record of mankind amply shows that these God given differences have never been improved by conflict. The process of war, force, lynching and crusades have only tended to inculcate within men hatred and indifferences. Mankind has improved in science, and especially in methods of fathoming. the processes of human thinking. The seat of human behavior rests not in the changes of the world, but in the hearts of mankind. There is ample proof that all mankind is good. There are fundamental desires and hopes that are common to all. Upon this basis, all people must seek to build. Force rests in the intellect of the peoples of the world. World education and cooperation will bring Brotherhood in cooperation with God given capacities. Brotherhood in equality, force, intelligence, freedom and a common ground are elements which the human race is capable of bringing to pass peace on earth, good wit, to all men. They seem so swiftly gone that we forget that they do not go away at all, but remain like barbed arrows in the heart where they struck, or like fragrant flowers distilling perfume. They seem powerless for good or evil, but we forget that they either tear down or build up fair fabrics of joy and peace in the souls of those to whom we speak them. They are the vehicles of thoughts. Lets be generous with the good word. Smithers was a solo jaunt up when Jake, the guide, stopped supplies. Got a deck of playing cards? Why, no, said Smithers.
