Show o High School News Edna Anderson, Reporter April 13 has been designated as annual F F A day. During this week the American Fork Chapter will sponsor a window display of charts on feed rations, Babcock milk testers, weed mounts, F F A banner and emblems, and various kinds of farm magazines, such as the 'Hoards Dairymen,' 'Poultry Science,' 'Breeders 'Breed-ers Gazzette', and 'American Farm Boy'. Work on the Year Book is progressing pro-gressing each day. During the past week the juniors and seniors have had their pictures taken and group pictures were taken Wednesday of this week. The school year has had some most outstanding events which will all be recorded in the year book. I Subscriptions are still acceptable. This morning the Speech B. class is presenting a program of four lecture lec-ture recitals. Musical numbers will be given by the music department. The speech department of the school is entering the invitational contests at the Brigham Young university uni-versity in Provo, April 2, 3 and 4. Two dancing teams will enter, the members being Winnifred Babcock and Irene Giddings, Barbara Pett and Guy Richards. Miss Maxine Taylor will enter the oratorical contest con-test and Phil Jensen the extemporaneous extempor-aneous speaking. A one act play. "The Command Performance," with the following cast will enter: Margaret Dunkley, VSrtor Bowen, Mary Walton, R. Gardner, Verda Miller, Phil Jensen, Jen-sen, Lloyd Hayward, Virginia Shelley, Shel-ley, Wayne Booth and Mac Cunningham. Cun-ningham. Mary Walton, Verda Miller and May Whitby wil enter the humorous humor-ous reading bout and Madeline Robinson, Rob-inson, Leo Dean and Maxine Taylor Tay-lor will compete for the dramatic reading group. |
