Summer Scramble August 6 It’s time to get your game on! In conjunction with the Community Foundation of Ogden Valley’s summer fund drive, OVerDRIVE, the CFOV hosts a Summer Scramble Golf Tournament. Since we don’t want to be “scrambling” at the last minute to round up teams, we are inviting you to sign up now for one of the most fun tournaments of the year, and the one that truly benefits all of Ogden Valley—its citizens and visitors alike. The Summer Scramble will be held August 6 at Wolf Creek Resort. Cost is $500 for a team of four. There will be fun on the course, a continental breakfast and lunch to enjoy, and prizes galore to be had. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to meet all of our local nonprofits, hang around for the putting tournament, and experience live music while visiting with friends and neighbors—all at this year’s community festival. Help Welcome Home Armed Services Members Returning Home from Deployment The highlight of the festival, again this year, will be the exciting “Chopper Drop” event, where numbered golf balls are dropped from a helicopter as it hovers above the golf course. The owners of the first balls to land in designated holes will win great prizes. You won’t want to miss the fun! It’s definitely time to get your game on; gather your team together now and join us for this great community cause. Teams may be reserved by contacting Brian Nielsen at bln805@gmail.com or, for more information, check out the CFOV web site at <cfogdenvalley.org> And remember, on May 1, the Community Foundation shifted into OVerDRIVE, opening our giving period.
