Call Ken or Larry - Page 5 756-964- 3 Office: 174 W Main American Fork Young Pioneers 4 Tots drive Toys ORIGINAL HOLIDAY BOUTIQUE underway The LHS Honor Society has begun their Toys for Photo by Cathy Allred Romney of the SLOC displays the album presented to him by director Jana lee Hess (to his left) and Heather Dailey’s Meadow Elementary fifth grade class President Mitt Students sing for SLOC director Fifth grade Meadow Elementary students got a real surprise when they were invited to sing for a women’s organization The Marriott School National Advisory Council spouse association at BYU They also got to sing for the president of the Utah Olympic committee or SLOC Mitt Romney It turns out the guest speaker’s daughter had twins just two days before the engagement a luncheon at the Riverside Country Club so Anne Romney’s husband volunteered to take her place Heather Daily’s class was selected to sing for the luncheon by director Janalee Hess who also had a daughter in the class She chose the class because the patriotic theme of the meeting went well with her studies on daughter’s American history The children presented the flag and sang several patriotic songs including “This is My Country” and “God Bless the USA” After the presentation Hess and the students gave a photo album they had prepared to the president Each child had written what America meant to them in the album As they left the club the Romney shook each child’s hand The children practiced three hours a week for more than two months for the program Hess was the director of “The Garden” presented last spring by the LDS Lehi South Stake She is currently performing in “The Savior of the World” at the LDS Conference cen- ter She had given a presentation two years ago with her vocal students for the School of Marriot and had been Management invited back last spring for their annual conference The Marriot luncheon School of Management are a group of women who provide support to the graduate student spouses and who offer a scholarship to single parent wishing to farther their education in business JDlue vFoose 1 ?
