Lee Florence, head civilian personnel, has been appointed by General Wm. M. Morgan to conduct the campaign for Hill Air Force Base. Throughout the entire month of April the drive will proceed. About 150 coin containers have been located in the sections and branches of Hill for your convenience. Whenever you pass one, drop the loose change from your pocket or change purse into the slot. GIVE TO CON- QUER CANCER. "The war against cancer is a crusade against a vicious enemy whic hthreatens everyone and has killed more human beings than all our wars combined. Thousands of the nation's leading scientists are probing, searching, testing, devoting their lives to finding the cause and cure for cancer. Doctors and surgeons are developing new techniques of cancer treatment and surgery which are today saving many lives that would have been lost in past years. Thousands of volunteers of the American Cancer Society are devoting their time and energies providing services to the cancer pa, tient. You too can strike back in the war against cancer. You, who must stand anxiously on the side-linwhile the search for the answer riddle of cancer to the age-ol- d goes on, can join in the crusade by having a financial stake in the ultimate victory. Without your doles lars the relentless battle against cancer cannot be continued." Classification NCO: "How could you have been an airplane mechanic in a burlesque show?"
