Join the party! 11 a.m. -1 p.m., Hot Shot Competition, WHFC Basketball court — This competition tests a participant's speed, shooting ability, dribbling skills and rebounding ability within a series of oneminute time periods from five hot spots. Prize for the most points! Noon -1 p.m., Zumba, WHFC - A fusion of Latin and international dance that creates a dy- namic, exciting and effective fitness workout that is just like a party ... Join the party! 1 p.m. - 2 p.m., Will Power, WHFC Basketball Court — Perform a "wall sit" while holding a basketball overhead, compete for the longest time, winner earns a prize! 3 p.m. - 4 p.m., Take Your Ball and Go Home, WHFC Basketball court — Test your speed skills with this variation of musical chairs using sports balls. Last man standing earns a prize! 4 p.m. - 6 p.m., Rock Wall Challenges, WHFC — Come join the party at the rock wall with fun challenges and competitions! TIMES 5, December 23, 2009 Warrior Health and Fitness Center's New Year's Eve bash BY AIRMAN 1 ST CLASS ROBS/ HEDRICK 75th Air Base Wing Public Ajfairs T he Warrior Health and Fitness Center is scheduled to host a free New Year's Eve bash Dec. 31 from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The staff would like for everyone to stop by the bash and celebrate the closing of 2009 as well as the beginning of 2010 with a day of fun and fitness. The bash will include fitness events, challenges, competitions and trivia with prizes being awarded to the winners. Prizes will also be awarded for participating as well through drawings. Events such as racquetball, the climbing wall, Zumba and kettlebells are just a few of the events that participants can enter. Various activities are scheduled throughout the day for all fitness levels and interests. Participants are welcome to stay the whole day and participate in any event or come to encourage OTHER NEW YEAR'S EVE EVENTS CLUBHILL The club will be open New Year's Eve, 10:30 am. to 1 a.m., New Year's morning. YOUTH CENTER NEW YEAR'S EVE LOCK-IN The Youth Center will be holding a New Year's Eve Lock-In in response to special request, Dec. 31, 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. the next day, $25 per child.
