Show WASATCH CLUB ELECT OFFICERS At a meeting marked by enthusiasm, enthusi-asm, "pep" speches -and a genuine' boosters spirit, tho annual election of officers of the Wasatch Club took place Monday night The meeting was hold in tho high school building with a fair representation of business men and other boostors present. The . retiring offlcors. A. P. Warnlck, Pres. dent; noy Smith, Vlco-prcsldont, and B. U. Wes, secrotary and treasurer; wcro given a vote of thanks for their persistent efforts during the past year In placing tho club on a sound footing. Tho new offlcors to head the club for tho coming year wcro efected as follows: president, Jas. D. Thorno; vice-president. Victor Larson; sec. rotary and treasurer, Karl Banks. Thcso officers havo plenty of "pep" and havo pledged' themselves to glvo forth tholr best 6fforts along the lines of civic betterment. President Tliorno stalos that tho club has many novel activities already al-ready planned for tho coming year I Among the first will bo a big marriod folks dance somo time noxt wock with tho Prom decorations still up. Tho club will soon conduct a membership mem-bership drlvo and every Uvo citizen will bo urged to help put over tho big task of boosting our town and putting It on tho map. |
