Elder Spangenberg was a past president of the Ontario Branch of the California Mission for 13 years before moving to Pasadena. "There is a shortage of Bibles, we are rationing our supplies, and we expect conditions to get worse instead of better,. Dr. Robert T. Taylor, secretary of the Chicago Bible Society has announced. The overwhelming demand by both soldiers' and civilians for copies of the Scriptures, and the rationing of paper are responsible for the shortage of -- Bibles.
