Show those honored are featured The Summit County Bee in the awards volume, Outstanding Secondary Educators of America. Mr.. Pace is now eligible to receive the Outstanding Secondary Educator of the Year Award Trophy. Five J$ 500.00 unrestricted grants will' be awarded to the schools represented by America's five Outstanding Secondary Educators. Distinguished judges, along with the Board of Advisors, will select the five individual secondary teachers to be honored. In this way, the program thanks the teacher and the school for their contributions to the continuing of American education. In announcing the award winners to the administrators, Dr. V. Mr. Pace is the son of Mr. Harvey Pace of Wanship and the late Verla Pace. He is married to the former Joan Foster and they have three sons, Rick, Rod and Ryan. The nomination came from his principal earlier this year and he was selected for this honor on the basis of his professional and civic achievements. Mr. Pace has won many honors with his music students, both vocaland instrumental, and many of his students have advanced to win higher honors. Dean is a graduate of North Summit High School and received his B.A. degree from Brigham Young University in Provo. He taught music for two years in Vernal at Uintah High School prior to moving to Morgan.
